You can describe Alan in word word, a real Mensch. I knew Alan for the last 33 years or so. The world is a better place because he was here, and I am definately a better person from knowing Alan. He will be missed.

I met Alan as the handsome and charming Father of the Groom at Robert & Linda's wedding. Meeting Paula and Alan in such a happy setting, I instantly knew that my niece was marrying into a very special family. Everyone could see where Robert got his special outlook on life, his spirit of adventure and his joyful heart. These two special parents and such engagingly wonderful grandparents have achieved all the best in life, and I know that their children will continue to be a joy to them all through time and eternity. May blessings continue to flow to Alan's family, as he receives his glorious reception into heaven. Bless you all. Love, Nancy Stein

My deepest sympathies to Paula and the entire Katz family. Knowing Alan made my early adult years much more fun. It is a true loss when the person I remember as such a bright, humorous and robust individual leaves us. My love to all.
