Agnes Casabere Obituary

Agnes S. CASEBERE Born February 6, 1910 in Seattle; died at Bayview Manor in Seattle on August 14, 2003. Survived by daughter, Marie Moslander and her husband, Clyde, Lynnwood; three granddaughters, Patricia Baker, East Wenatchee, Barbara Bollinger, Bothell and Teresa Bishop, Seattle and ten great grandchildren. Agnes was born in Seattle and grew up mainly in Ballard, then in Greenwood where her parents had a restaurant, and later in Lake Ballinger where her parents had a grocery store and boathouse. She was an active bowler and member of the Women's Independent Bowling Association. She went to Alaska when it became a state and set up the W.I.B.A. for women bowlers of Alaska. She and her husband were active in the Teamsters fishing derbies for many years. Agnes and Dick were active in the Ancient Order of United Workmen lodge for nearly 40 years. She also enjoyed may cruises. There will be a Memorial Service held Thursday, August 21st at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Evergreen-Washelli with a light luncheon to follow. Agnes will be buried at Holyrood Cemetery in the family plot with her husband, Dick, and a fourth granddaughter, Katherine Mary, who both preceded her in death.
