Agnes Billing Obituary

Billing, Agnes "Senga" Robertson (nee Walsh), 60 of Elmhurst, beloved wife of Barry, loving mother of Andrew, Alec, Beth (fiance, Frank Crowe), sister of Tom Walsh, aunt of Krista, Heather and Dr. Scott Walsh, dear friend of Nard Walsh. she was born in Cambuslang, Scotland in 1943; she attended the local grade school and later studied music at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music in Glasgow (1954). In 1955, the family emigrated to the United States and settled in Chicago. She attended Austin High School and later completed a two year program at St. Anne's Hospital. After graduation as a X-Ray Technologist, she worked at West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park. In 1969, she join Westlake Community Hospital as a technician and later became a supervisor. For the past 15 years she worked at Yorktown Shopping Mall. Senga enjoyed reading, knitting and loved gardnering and visiting Lake Geneva every summer. Memorial visitation at Epiphany Ev. Lutheran Church, 314 W. Vallette, Elmhurst, from 11 a.m. until time of memorial service at 1 p.m., Saturday, January 24. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated for the church. Arrangements by Ahlgrim Funeral Home. Info. 630-834-3515 or www.ahlgrim.com
