Adele Foard Obituary
Foard, Adele Carter age 93, of Pennsauken, NJ, formerly of Chicago for 45 years, passed away March 25, 2009. Adele Foard was the wife of Rev. Dr. Howard A. Foard who preceded her in death. Adele was a teacher at St. Peter Lutheran School. She retired as teacher and librarian for Chicago Public School System. Adele leaves to cherish her memory her children, daughters-in-law, grand and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, adopted children, other relatives, and friends. Interment was at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler, PA. A memorial service to celebrate Adele Foard obtaining the victory in Jesus Christ will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2009, at St. Philip Lutheran Church, 6232 South Eberhart Ave., Chicago, IL 60637. 773-493-3865. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Charles Brownell School, 6741 S. Michigan Ave.

I offer my condolences to Adele's family. We spent many a day working at Brownell school. One summer she and I team taught reading through the arts. It was a rewarding experience and fond memory.
