Sister Adele Bennett R.S.M. beloved Sister of Mercy for 52 years, loving daughter of the late John and Inez (nee Clohesey) Bennett. Graduate of St. Leo Elementary School, Mercy High School and St. Xavier University. Principal at St. Malachy Grade School, teacher at Resurrection School (Jackson Blvd.), St. James (Wabash Ave.), St. Lucy, St. Angela and Austin Career Center. Survived by her aunt Clair Kennealy, many cousins, Sister Lenore Mulvihill and other good friends. Visitation Wednesday, June 21, 2006, at Mercy Convent, 3701 W. 99th St., Chicago, from 3 until 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Thursday, June 22, 2006 at Mercy Chapel. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sisters of Mercy. For information call Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 708-636-1193.
