Susan Mary Haglund, 77

Susan Mary (Kellner) Haglund, 77, of Rathdrum, Idaho passed away Friday, December 22, 2023 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. She was born in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho on December 15, 1946 to Theodore (Ted) and Dorothy (Secaur) Kellner. Susan attended Jefferson Elementary and Sacajawea Junior High in Spokane, Washington and Coeur d'Alene Junior High and graduated from Coeur d'Alene High School.



Sue married the love of her life, Raymond (Ray) Haglund on June 30, 1979. Sue and Ray built a life and shared many years together until Ray's untimely death in 2003. Sue worked many jobs during her life. She retired from the Washington State Ferry System after which she settled in Rathdrum, Idaho. She enjoyed her winter months in Arizona.



She loved her family, her animals, playing games, traveling and family gatherings. She was an avid shopper. She loved Idaho but in her later years, she enjoyed her home in Arizona during the colder months.



Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Dorothy Kellner; her husband, Ray Haglund and brother, David Kellner. She is survived by her sister, Judi Kellner Yajko (John); sister-in-law, Joany Hagadone Kellner (David); her nieces and nephew: Debra Keeler Vigil (Virgil); Cindy Kellner Orr (Loren); Dorothy Keeler Price (Brian); Shawn Kellner (Susan); and Kimberly Kellner Myers (John); and many great-nieces and nephews.



Sue wished to be cremated. Interment will be with her husband Ray. A private memorial will be scheduled in the Spring of 2024.
