Howard Rhodes Obituary

Howard E. Rhodes, 81, of Mars, formerly of Beaver Falls, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 24, 2023, in the comfort of his home.
Born in Beaver Falls, on Jan. 6, 1942, he was the son of the late Ralph E. and Vesta I. Kelly Rhodes.
Howard was a computer technician for the U.S. Postal Service at the Bulk Mail Center in Warrendale.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a life member of Mars V.F.W. Post 7505, the Zelienople American Legion Post 474 and the Harmony Loyal Order of the Moose Post 957.
Howard enjoyed golfing and loved drinking wine and visiting wineries.
Surviving are his wife, Deborah C. Rhodes, whom he married on April 18, 1998; two sons, Howard E. Rhodes Jr., of Darlington, and Joseph W. Rhodes (Tammy), of New Brighton; two stepdaughters, Alisa Holden (Todd), of Port Mathilda, and Allison Brudney-Walker (Robert), of Wayne, Ill.; a stepson, Joshua Brudney (Jennifer), of Valencia; his grandchildren, Sarah Cook (Mark), Alexis Rhodes, Annie Houtz (Josh), Graceann Brudney, Dylan Seaman, J.B. Holden, Ben Brudney and Cody Rhodes; and his great-granddaughters, Breann, Hannah and Kaity Cook.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lori A. Rhodes Seaman, who died on March 16, 2018.
RHODES - Friends of Howard E. Rhodes, who died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2023, are invited to a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023, at MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. A reception will follow at the Waterhole at Hartmann's Golf Course, 169 Hartmann Road, Harmony.
Inurnment will be in the columbarium at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, Pa.
