My condolences to the family of Ms. Augustine. Your sister, mom, grand-mom, and aunt made a great impact in your lives, as well as profound changes in the people she taught, counseled, and advised. I'm one of those products. A life can be measured in many ways but truly impacting the lives of young people before you leave is a big one for me.
Just know that she impacted many lives far beyond what you all will ever know.
Thank You for sharing her with us.

Madeline married into the Augustine family and into our hearts. She was a talented, kind, intelligent, and empathetic woman, and so much more who was cherished by friends and family. Maddy´s proficiency in French made our trips to France so much more enjoyable. Though we were miles apart for the past few years, we kept in touch exchanging emails, cards (she loved sending cards!), and an occasional phone call. I enjoyed her French phrases, and after using Google, I would reply in French. I considered her a sweet friend, more than my brother-in-law`s wife. Reposez en paix, Madeline. Sending my condolences to the family of Mrs. Augustine. She was my French teacher at Hutch-Tech, as well as the coach for our It's Academic Team. On a faculty of wonderful and supportive teachers, Mrs. Augustine was a standout for her attentiveness, excellence, and belief in her students. May her memory be for a blessing.

Madeline and I were classmates at Bishop O´Hern High School and D´Youville College. I admired her so much for her kindness, her energy, her intelligence, and her confidence. She was a blessing to me and to many who knew her. Repose-toi bien, Madeline.

I spent some time today thinking about the time Madeline and our 2 daughters went to Vermont to participate a week of tennis instructions. We had so much fun.
Those were the days. Rest in peace my friend.

Madeline was a great teacher and friend. Tech loved her. We shared hosting a multicultural club that worked to have kids embraced diversity and learn tools to de-escalate frictional issues for themselves and others. These became lifelong skills imparted throughout the school.
May her family and friends reflect on the happiness she brought to them and let those memories soften the loss we all feel. Deepest regrets.
May she rest in Peace

I miss you Madeline. You leave a large hole in our O'Hern group. You were always a bright star that could light up a room. Wish we had more time together. RIP
