ANDERSON, Richard J. "Porka" Age 63, of Winthrop, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, on Sunday, August 25, 2024. Born in Winthrop, MA to Catherine (Liotine) Anderson and the late Edwin F Anderson. Richard is survived by his wife of 34 years, Annette (DiMuzio) Anderson; his sons, Marc R. and Eric J. Anderson; his mother, Catherine Anderson; his siblings, Susan Anderson-Noonan and her husband, David of Amherst and Paul Anderson and his fiancée, Lisa Parsons Brennan of Halifax. He is survived by many nieces and nephews, Simone Noonan and her husband, Justin Spears of North Carolina, John Noonan of New York, Olivia, Sara, Dylan and Anderson, Christopher Griffin, Lauren (Griffin) Lewis and her husband, Tyler, Rose and Kai DiMuzio. He was very close to his in-laws, Pauline and Edward DiMuzio of Stoneham; sister-in-law, Susan DiMuzio Citroni and her husband, Jeff of North Reading and Diane DiMuzio and her husband, Brian Castle of Cumberland, Rhode Island. Brother of the late Edwin J. Anderson; and brother-in-law of the late Edward DiMuzio, Jr. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the Visitation from the Ernest P. Caggiano and Son Funeral Home, 147 Winthrop St., WINTHROP, on Saturday, August 31, 2024, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Service in the funeral home, at 11:00 AM. Services will conclude with the interment in the Cross Street section of Winthrop Cemetery.
