Graham MacDonald Obituary

Graham Lamont MacDonald, 72, passed away on July 15, 2024, in Bellingham, WA. Born on November 27, 1951, in Baddeck, Nova Scotia, Canada, Graham was a spirited individual who made significant strides both personally and professionally throughout his life.

Graham cherished his childhood in Baddeck, where he enjoyed skating and playing hockey on the frozen Bras D'or Lake. He attended Baddeck Primary and High School before pursuing higher education at Acadia University, where he majored in business and met his future wife, Mary Elizabeth Houck. The couple eventually settled in Vancouver, BC, where Graham completed his Certified Management Accountant degree.

Professionally, Graham was dedicated and ambitious. He served in both the BC Federal and Provincial Governments before venturing into the private sector, where he made his mark as the CEO of Proform Products. He was also an investor and entrepreneur, co-founding an auditing company with his partner Ken Sam, among other successful business ventures.

Graham was a devout member of Fairview Gospel Hall in Vancouver and later, Lynden Gospel Hall in Washington. His faith was an integral part of his life.

Family was paramount to Graham, and he is survived by his daughters Leah Green, Hannah Brown, and Naomi MacDonald; sons Daniel, Matthew, Nathan, Joel, and Andrew MacDonald; and grandchildren Kaleb, Micah, Asher, Julian, Praise, Piper, River, Remy, Jude, Yeshua, and Yahweh.

In his leisure, Graham enjoyed rollerblading and was devoted to raising his family, a task he approached with the same intensity and dedication evident in his professional endeavors.
