Brown, Robert L. (Bob), Bob was born Nov. 11, 1934 in Charleston, MO. He passed from this life on Wed. Sept.18th at the age of 89.
Bob was employed by General Electric Supply as a manager for 33 years and then with Walker-Loudermilk of Kansas City for 23 years as an electrical sales rep.
He was preceded in death by his parents Stephen and Stella, brother, Winston, and sisters, Betty and Geneva.
He is survived by his wife of almost 66 years, Nola; children, Karen (Gary) Shartzer, Kent (Amy) Brown; grandchildren, Stephanie (Bob) Arens, Nicole (Christian) Penner, Jared Brown (Stephanie Ratsamy), Jessica (Nate) Boone, great grandchild, Leo Aaron Penner.
Bob enjoyed everything about sports and watching any sports team or music program with children or grandchildren.
He was a member of the Ascension Lutheran Church for 56 years, singing in the choir for 52 years.
A Service Celebrating his life will be at Ascension Lutheran Church, 842 N Tyler Rd on Friday, Sept. 27, 2024 at 11:00am. Private family visitation.
A Memorial is suggested to the Ascension Lutheran Chancel Choir.
