William Summers Obituary
He was born on Sept. 7, 1953, in Wichita, Kansas, to Joseph and Oleva (Childress) Summers.
Charlie spent his career in auto body repair, working locally at Advanced Auto Body in Mountain Home, Arkansas, and Steve's Body Shop in Flippin, Arkansas. Known for his skill and dedication to his craft, he had a lifelong love of automobiles and AMX's. Even after retiring, he continued working on projects and most recently performed the restoration of a 1955 Chevy Nomad for a friend.
Charlie was an avid music lover and liked watching NASCAR and attended the Indy500 in 2023. He made his home in Lakeview for the past 30 years after moving from Morrilton, Arkansas.
Charlie is survived by his brothers, Joseph Summers of Lakeview, Arkansas, and Larry Summers of Perry, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and children.
Private services will be held.
