Denise Lillis Obituary

Denise Rose (Talburt) Lillis, 72, of Quitman, Arkansas, formerly of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at her home in Quitman.

She was born on Oct. 26, 1953, in Batesville, Arkansas, to Eugene Caroll and Nellie Rae (Dozier) Talburt.

Denise loved the Lord Jesus Christ and attended Twin Lakes Baptist Church in Mountain Home. She liked to make crafts and crochet. She would craft little angels out of ribbons and crosses out of rocks. If there was anything she could design a trinket or piece of jewelry from, she found it.

Denise will be greatly missed by her family and all who had a chance to meet her.

She is survived by her son, Steve Herring; two daughters, Cheri Gosser (Todd Davis) and Frances Wilson (Alex Wilson); 11 grandchildren, including Camille Rivas, Zaine Wilson, Wesley Stair, Preston Stair, Brandon Gosser and Aidan Gosser; great-grandchildren, Kaylyn Stair, Brantley Stair, Kinslee Stair, Isabelle Stair, Karsyn Stair and Canyon Stair; cousins Rodney and Wanda Dozier; aunt Evelyn Dozier and nephew Joey Talburt.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Harold Talburt.

A celebration of Denise's life will be held at a later date.
