Gerald ROOKE Obituary

ROOKE Gerald Percival "Gerry" Died peacefully at home on 10th March 2026, with his loving family by his side. Gerry aged 100 years of Bishopsteignton. Beloved husband to the late Joan, much loved dad to Marion and Sue, father-in-law to Robin, treasured grandad and great-grandad. Former Teacher at Teign School, Kingsteignton. Gerry will be remembered with much love and affection by all who knew him. A True Gentleman who will be missed.  A Private Cremation will be held and a Service of Celebration for Gerry's life will be held at  The Parish Church of St. John the Baptist, Bishopsteignton  on Wednesday 22nd April at 2pm.  Family flowers only please, but donations for Stockman & Loram Charity Account may be left by retiring collection, or given online at www.stockmanandloram.co.uk/donations any donations kindly made will be divided equally between Bishopsteignton Methodist Church, Bishopsteignton Heritage, Parish Church of St. John the Baptist, Bishopsteignton and the Royal British Legion, Bishopsteignton Branch.
