Giovanni Torres Obituary
Torres, Giovanni Alan "Baby Gio" 14 months, beloved son of Tyler Torres and Amber Kobela, earned his angel wings early on Tuesday, January 31, 2017, after battling an extremely rare cancer (Rhabdoid Tumor) since diagnosis at 6 weeks of age. His final hours were spent peacefully at home cuddling with his mommy and daddy in their bed. "Gio" touched many individuals in some way throughout his short, yet very memorable life. His radiant smile melted the hearts of those around him. He possessed strength, perseverance, and an ability to bring happiness especially during tough times. He fought his illness with great courage, reminding us that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create memories. A few things that Giovanni loved was playing with his toys and figurines "guys", watching his favorite Disney characters (Mickey Mouse and Winnie The Pooh), being outdoors, music, and listening as his mommy and daddy sang him songs at bedtime. He enjoyed many tv shows which included PJ Masks and Peppa Pig. With Giovanni's passing we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated. Although he will be missed everyday, he will forever remain in our hearts. Over the course of his short life we were able to create lasting memories which we are forever grateful for. Giovanni will always remain his parents' beautiful baby boy. "Dream Big Prince." He is survived by his mommy, Amber Kobela; his daddy, Tyler Torres; puppies, Khloe and Kloud; maternal grandparents, Gary and Jennifer Veselsky; paternal grandparents, Christopher and Mary K.
