I've just become aware of Ray's transition to his heavenly home. Like so many others, my prayers and love go out to the Collins family. In addition to being a scholar athlete, Ray was simply a blessing to all of us at Mendel. May God's continued blessings and peace be with the Collins family.

May your memories of Ray's life and love comfort you during this difficult time. My brother and cousins went to Mendel, so as the "little sister" I was a huge Mendel fan and remember watching Ray on the basketball court and baseball field. Condolences to the Collins family

I would like to express my most sincere condolences to the Collins family. Although I did not hang out with Ray personally, I always remember him to be a nice guy who brought many thrills to the old Mendel gymnasium.

Joyce, it's been years but just want you to know that Ray was a really good friend and team mate. If it weren't for him, I would have never played basketball for Nebraska. There were so many good times and the memories will definitely live on.
