Dear Maslov Family: My I extend my deepest sympathy to all of you on this sad occasion. My name is Don Garfield and I had the honor of knowing both Freya and Sy for many years, but not recently. Freya and I were classmates at South Shore. Dave Gordon, the man who started the business your Dad owned, was a shirtale relative of mine, and when I was in business-many years ago- I started out dealing with Dave, but ended up working with Sy. That was an arrangement I liked just fine. He was a gentleman in a business filled with rouges. May his memory be for a blessing to you all.
Donald Garfield
