Galvin (Murphy), Mary M.
Age 81, a lifelong resident of Chicago, Canaryville neighborhood, passed away on April 8, 2021. Beloved wife of the late James Galvin; loving mother of James (Janet) Galvin, Maureen (late Joseph) Henderson, Michael (Michelle) Galvin, Lori (Michael) Connolly, and Patrick (Donna) Galvin; cherished grandmother of Joey Jr., Kevin (Jessica), Erin (Steve), Dr. Jimmy III, Stephanie (Brian), Michael, Patrick Jr., Julie, Riley, Kathleen, Grace, and Allison and great-grandmother of Joey, Hailey, Kevin, Steven, and Jaxon; also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews. Cherished friend of many. Mary was a Crossing Guard for the City of Chicago for over 40 years. She was immensely proud of her Irish heritage. She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church and involved in the Women's Club for many years. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family at the summer home in Michigan. She enjoyed shopping, spending time with friends and an occasional trip to the casino. She was deeply loved by all who knew her. Services at McINERNEY CENTRAL CHAPEL, 4635 S. Wallace St., Chicago, IL, where family and friends will gather on Sunday, April 11, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 6:00 p.m. Cremation rites in accordance with Mary's wishes. In Lieu of flowers donations to St. Gabriel's Tower Fund. For those attending services, PLEASE NOTE THAT COVID19 RESTRICTIONS WILL BE OBSERVED, MAXIMUM GATHERING, 50 PEOPLE AT A TIME AT McINERNEY's, WITH MASKS REQUIRED.

So sorry for the whole family loss of this beautiful sweet lady. Mrs galvin was so nice to me always hi to me. Myself and my mom give our condolences prayers and hugs to all her kids and grandkids. I'm praying for Maureen Joey Kevin Erin and little people for your loss from your cousin and aunt.
