Hogan, Martin and Ingeborg Martin Hogan was born January 23, 1932, Borrisokane, Co. Tipperary, Ireland, and died August 29, 2018, Crystal Lake, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sarah (Hough) and Daniel Hogan; and his brother, Patrick Hogan. Ingeborg Hogan was born November 3, 1927, Berlin, Germany and died June 17, 2018, Crystal Lake, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucie (Moller) and Fritz Noack; and survived by her brother, Rudolph Noack and his wife, Lilo. Martin and Ingeborg Hogan, met in London, England, after the end of WWII and married June 11, 1952. They were lifelong travelers having visited more than ten countries and 30 US States between them. Martin was a Journeyman Mechanic for IUOE Local 150 and passionate photographer, Chicago Bears/Notre Dame lover, reader, Eucharistic Minister, Carmelite, Automobile and movie lover. Ingeborg was a fashion designer/seamstress, and homemaker, and loved fashion, needlework, history, reading, bird watching, gardening and traveling. They had two daughters, Angela Hogan born 1954, and Christine Hogan born August 28, 1967, died October 23, 1983; and one granddaughter, Shannon Hogan born 1977, that they raised and enthusiastically participated in her Girl Scouting, Horse Shows, Music and joy. The Hogan's were beloved to anyone they have ever met and enjoyed many friends and a robust Church Community. Both Martin and Ingeborg were cared for through their deaths at home by their granddaughter Shannon, with the assistance of JourneyCare Hospice of Barrington, IL. Shannon appreciates any donations to this wonderful 403b, as well as St. Anne Community Church, in their names.
