Pops was a wonderful man. I will miss not sleeping over at his home when my sister's house was full of grandchildren. He and I would stay up late and talk and talk. He told me beautiful stories about meeting Nellie at Sears and how he almost missed their first date. He told me about his army days in Korea and it amazed me how much Korean he still knew. He told me joke after joke and I would laugh like it was the first time I had ever heard the joke. He called himself a "lucky man" because he was blessed with a wonderful mother and wife but, I think we were all the lucky ones.

Love you Pops and so happy you are now with the love of your life.

Goodbye to the best father in law in the world. You made me feel like i was your own daughter. I always felt at home and part of the Varlotta family. You gave me the greatest gift ever, your son. He and your grandsons are my world. When i look in their eyes and at their faces, i will see you. Rest in peace Dad.
