Debbie, Val and I are childhood friends. I remember going to Leroy and Joyce's house for birthdays. Eating sloppy Joe's and Grandma Rhode's Toll House bars. Leroy wore a cowboy hat, so I gave him the nickname "Cowboy Leroy".

I’m remembering meeting Leroy at Valerie’s birthday party. He was so much fun and very charming. I’m so sorry for your loss.

I was just thinking the other day of your upcoming 80th Birthday. You left us suddenly, and though my heart is so heavy, it is comforting to know that you will be celebrating with your Joyce, and the pieces of YOUR HEART are back together!

Together you raised three children into wonderful, caring adults. They too, are grieving, but together the memories and love they share will see them through this difficult time.

Rest assured, my dear Brother, that you are loved and will be terribly missed. Good bye for now, "LaLa"!

Love,
Sandy
