Karen Lynn Tipp, née Wagner, most beloved wife and best friend of Michael Tipp; devoted mother of Brenda (Akinori) Kaneta and Brandon (Boyue) Tipp; proud "Grandma" of Sara Kaneta, Amelie Kaneta, Kayan Kaneta, Rua Kaneta, Nathaniel Tipp, and Amara Tipp; loving daughter of the late Harry and Sarah Wagner; caring sister of Richard (Gwendolyn) Wagner and the late Sheldon (the late Lea) Wagner; cherished aunt of numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great – great nieces and nephews; A dear friend of many; an inspirational advocate and leader. Karen will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity. A private graveside service will be held. My condolences to Michael and the entire Tipp Family. I worked with Karen for several years at the Darwin Elementary School in Chicago. She was deeply committed to her profession as a psychologist. She will be missed.
