Dad, I will forever hold you close and dear to my heart and I will never forget all that you have taught me in my life thus far; I'm not so bad with a hammer (although Jake would argue with that assessment) and I'm pretty good at fixing things and taking care of what needs to be done, all because of you, but most of all, you have taught me what family means and how important it is to keep them close to you and never be forgotten. You don't have to worry about anything anymore, Jake and I will take good care of mom and the house. I will make sure that mom is ok. I will check in on Uncle to make sure that hes ok too because he will be missing you so very much. Alec, Lauren and Sam (Ben too) will miss you tremendously, their hearts are broken right now because you are no longer here with us, but I will always remind them of how much you loved them and how proud you were of them for the wonderful, loving caring adults that they have become. I thank you from the deepest part of my heart, for all of your encouragement, love and support that you have given the kids throughout the years. I don't think Alec and Lauren would have become doctors if it wasn't for you and moms encouragement and always being there for them and telling them to work hard and never give up on their dreams. You and mom have always, always been their for Alec and Lauren, i.e., their band concerts, school sporting events, religious ceremonies and all of their graduations. I will forever and always remind them (including any grand babies to come) of what a wonderful man and grandfather and great-grandfather you were and to keep all of those wonderful memories close to their hearts forever. I love you, and will miss you everyday and keep you close in my heart forever. Rest in peace Dad, until we see each other again.

Joe,
From being a father figure , teacher of my work ethic, sausage and wine making and most of all what it meant to be a friend. Will not forget any of the many memories made and shared over the last 40 years.
