To Nettie, David, Cheryl and Kevin,
Bill and I were sad to read of the passing of your dad in the Tribune. We always thought he was such a nice man and so much fun to be with. We always enjoyed his quirky humor and kind ways. We have nice memories of sharing time with your family in Park Ridge. We hope your memories sustain you in The loss of both of your parents. May they Rest In Peace.

I have fond memories of family get-togethers at the Chlopecki home 50 or more years ago. John's father was my Dads cousin and my godfather. We went there on New years day for many years. John was older than me but I remember him well. I remember watching him at a Weber football game at Soldier Field and going to a Cub game (seats right behind the dugout) where his father caught a foul ball one-handed and gave it to John. He said that if he caught another I'd get it. I remember a great family. We lost touch after his father died and that's a shame. I'm sure he was a great father just like his Dad. We all become memories sooner or later, but good memories are great to remember.
