Not sure what to say?

My mom and I had a most special relationship, she was such an open, kind, creative and giving person. Being held by her
And her positive touch has instilled such a sense of human belonging and feeling such warm love. Mom would stand up for you to anyone. She had fire when she needed it, but more
of a heartfelt sweetness.
She had a knack for Antiquing
Statues, and gardening was her passion. Mom and I would travel the suburbs in search of new varieties of plants, trees, and flowers.Working in the garden was therapy for her and I,and seeing the colors and textures we created was fulfilling and wondrous for both of us.
Deep down she had a free spirit
That she passed on to all of us .
She taught me how to read a newspaper for breakfast, that I still continue to this day,she always was listening to late night radio shows for different perspectives. She had a way with decorating our house, with the most interesting fabrics, wallpaper, lighting, and paint colors.
I think of her often and have shared her sweet influence on girlfriends, wives, friends and Clients.
Mom,thanks for your crazy laughter, inspiring my creative side, and your supreme warmth, touch and soul which I try to share with everyone in my life. Thanks Mom!

When I was a child, I loved going to grandma's house. She would show me the garden and the new flowers she planted while the sun gleamed down on us. Then we would sit in the kitchen, where she would draw beautiful pictures for me. I can remember being awe-stricken by how realistic they looked and how natural drawing came to her.

Once there was a family of kittens who lived under her porch. I went with her once when she fed them (as she always did). She treated them like her own, and showed me something once again.

She not only showed me the beauty of the earth, but the beauty of her warmth and love as well. Beauty came natural to her for a reason, as it radiated through her garden, art, and her being. Thank you gram, for showing me how to see beauty and how to see the warmth that mankind can possess.

With love,

Mike

I spent a lot of time over at Grandma Ev's house. I can remember being a baby, playing in the kitchen with the pots and pans, and Grandma teaching me expressions like, "that's amazing","that's incredible". Or singing songs with me, "You are my Sunshine"; "Show Me the Way to Go Home" to name a few. She always made me laugh.

All during grade school and high school, I cut her grass, cleaned her snow, washed the cars or did any job for her like staining the red wood fence and painting the porch. I just liked being there.

She cooked great dinners - breaded pork chops & mashed potatoes and of course her famous spagetti sauce. There was always pop in the fridge and candy in the candy jar.

Gram could talk about any current event and her mind was sharp all her life. Once I asked her who she would be if she could be anyone. She didn't hesitate. She said, "Barbara Walters".

Gram had a way of always making me feel I was the greatest. She instilled so much confidence in me. She gave unconditional love.

I'll never forget you gram.

You'll be in our hearts always.

Love, Joe

When I ask the angels for answers to the human mystery, I find that they guide me to a sense of peace and comfort in my soul. The angels to this not by bringing me answers and intricate theories but by bringing me creative ways of responding to life with light in my heart. - Love you and miss you gram

It was about a month ago, Mom you didn't want to eat that day. I put the spoon to your lips and said, "Come on mom, you gotta eat - don't you know - You're My Baby". You smiled and said, "I know". Thank you mom, for everything. I will love you forever. Your loving daughter, Chris.
