Szajerski, Josephine Age 103. Late of Hegewisch and longtime resident of South Chicago. Devoted daughter of the late John and the late Martha Szajerski; also preceded in death by her sisters, Anna Kazmierski, Irene Szajerski, Theresa Mays, and Mary Ann Swircz; and her brothers, Edward Shires, Sylvester, John, Frank, and Anthony Szajerski; she is survived by her sister-in-law, Alice Szajerski; and many loving nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews. She was a retired employee of RR Donnelly Co. Josephine was a lifelong parishioner of St. Bronislava Church, serving as president of the Rosary Society as well as an active member and officer of many church organizations until the parish closed. Visitation Sunday, January 6, 2019, 1-6 p.m. Funeral Service Monday, January 7, 2019 at 9:15 a.m. from the Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S. Ewing Ave., Chicago to Immaculate Conception Church.
