Beloved husband of Virginia (nee Kenny) Borik; devoted father of Jason, Jessica (James) Clark, and Megan Sheedy; dearest grandpa of Matthew Taylor and Connor Borik; cherished son of the late John Sr. (late Anna) Borik; dear brother of Larry (Gerrie) Borik and Paulette Bigos; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Longtime Canaryville resident. Retired Machinist at CSX Rail. 21 year friend of Bill W. Funeral services Saturday, August 5, 2017, at St. Gabriel Church, 4500 South Lowe Avenue, Chicago, IL. Mass of the Resurrection 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be held at the Thomas McInerney's Sons Funeral Home, 4635 South Wallace Street, Chicago, IL on Friday, August 4, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Interment private.
