Findysz, Colette R. "Cookie" Age 76, of Chicago, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. Colette was born August 29, 1942. Devoted wife of the late Henry "Hank". Loving mother of Anne (Joseph ret. C.P.D.) Stehlik, Walter (Michele), Robert (Victoria), Stephen C.P.D. (Stacey C.P.D.), Mary (Michael) Owen, Andrew (Carrie) and Christopher C.P.D.; cherished grandmother of Loretta (Timothy) Larkin, Walter (Hannah), Joseph, Erin, Kevin, Theodore (Stephanie), Elizabeth, Thomas, Caitlyn, Jessica, Erica, Samantha, Kazimir, Hannah, Keifer, Robert and Tyler; great-grandmother of Sophia; dearest sister of Rose Mary (the late Chester) Ostrowski, Frances (Thomas) Olsen, Antoinette (Raymond) Kuberski, Joseph (Marie) Johnson, John (Dorothy) Johnson, Trudy (Neil) Widlak and the late Bruno (the late Lorry) Johnson, the late Mary Ann (the late Frank) Janecka and the late Loretta (the late Anthony) Cozzi; caring aunt of many nieces and nephews. Colette was a treasurer secretary at K&S Precision Metals for over 60 years. A visitation for Colette will be held Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Ridge Funeral Home, 6620 West Archer Ave. (corner of Natoma), Chicago, IL 60638. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Monday, January 7, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., St. Symphrosa Church, 5986 W. 62nd St., Chicago, IL 60638. A committal service will occur Monday, January 7, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Resurrection Cemetery, 7201 W. Archer Road, Justice, IL 60458.
