Ondracek, Neil J. Age 86 of Plainfield, IL. Born in Chicago and formerly of Berwyn, IL. Beloved husband for 27 years to Lois J. (nee Marchon) Ondracek; loving father of James Stanley (Diane), Brian Douglass (Donna), and Mark Alan (Alison) Ondracek, also Erica Ricci; cherished grandfather of Melody Ann Ondracek, Carol Lee Lesak, Stephen Paul, Nathan Andrew, Paul David, Christopher David, Ruth Ann and Rebekah Ondracek; devoted great-grandfather of Thomas James Weidemann, James Keith Mauzey, Anna Jean Weidemann, Carter John Weidemann, Malakai Nathaniel Lakhani-Ondracek and Lillian Joy Weidemann; caring brother of Paul (Roger) Ondracek. Neil was a Navy Veteran, a graduate of Northwestern University and received his Master's from Loyola University. He retired from Argonne National Laboratory in 1986. Neil was an avid golfer. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Toon Funeral Home, 4920 Main Street, Downers Grove, IL 60515 Interment 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Forest Home Cemetery, Crivitz, Wisconsin.
