Stachon, Andrew Z. Age 84, a longtime resident of The Carillon in Plainfield, IL, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2017 at his home, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on March 13, 1933 in Chicago, IL to Andrew and Clara Stachon, who preceded him in death. Andrew is survived by his loving children, Kathleen, Joseph (Sharon), Andrew (Debbie), Clara (Mark) Gleason; his seven loving grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Margaret Stachon; his brother, Joseph Stachon; sister, Irene (the late Theodore) Kozlowski and his grandson, Jason Siwiec. For those who would like to leave a lasting tribute to Andrew's life, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Visitation will be Friday, December 8, 3:00-8:00 p.m. at the Overman-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 15219 S. Joliet Rd., Plainfield. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, December 9 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 600 Brook Forest Ave., Shorewood.
