Pedigo, David L. After a long struggle with multiple illnesses, David Leroy Pedigo, age 82, a resident at Clarendale Assisted Living in Mokena, Illinois, passed quietly away in the late afternoon on Monday, December 31, 2018. David was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Henry and Violet Viola (nee Chambers); and his beloved wife of 57 years, Marilyn Agnes (Miller). David, a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, is survived by son, Terrance (Karen); grandson, Kyle (McKenzie); granddaughter, Ada Violet; grandson, Quinn (Brittany); granddaughters, Linnea Ashley and Elise Jeanne; son, Timothy (Diane); grandson, David James; granddaughter, Kristy Lyn; grandson, Joe William; son, Tod (Karen); grandson, Mark William; granddaughter, Holly Lynn. David Leroy Pedigo and his family took great pride in his success as a local Home Builder and Residential Land Developer. His business acumen was honed at a very young age by collecting and selling worms to bait shops and fishermen. He possessed a seemingly endless amount of energy, drive, ambition, and optimism that served him well. His great success in business allowed him the opportunity to travel the world and explore many cultures with his wife, Marilyn, and many of their close friends. He often stated, "I am the luckiest man alive, I have done everything I ever dreamed of ten times over and while I was healthy enough to truly enjoy it!" David's last and most longed-for goal has now been realized. He is at resting comfortably in the arms of his Lord and reunited with the love of his life, Marilyn. Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Sunday, January 6, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral Service Monday, January 7, 2018 and Interment at Fairmont Willow Hills Memorial Park, Willow Springs, IL.
