Dorothy Duddles Obituary

Duddles, Dorothy L. Age 93, resident of Wadsworth, IL, died Monday December 25, 2017 in Winchester House, Libertyville. Born June 16, 1924 to Louis and Marie (Gasiorowski) Lash; married to Arthur F. Duddles, who preceded her in death. Family includes son Arthur W. and Theodora (Wagner); two daughters, Diane, CAPT/NC/USN Retired, and Maryanne and Valdis Legdzins; grandchildren, Jonathon and Shawn Duddles, Aimee and Ruben Orta; great-grandchildren, Amanda, Juliana, Katharina and Ruben; loving nephew, Gerald and Corinne Jensen of Florida. Dorothy was born into Our Lady of Grace Parish and was a longtime business owner of Dot & Art's Cleaners, then Dot's Potpourri. She was a founder of the Fullerton Ave. Merchants' Association and helped create an annual FAMA Christmas Parade. She contributed generously to community needs. Special thanks to the caring staff of Winchester House these last 3 1/2 years. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans, 433 S.
