Knotek, William D. "Bill" Age 60, of Lockport, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 2, 2017 at his home with his wife at his side. He was born in Oak Park, lived in Lockport for 29 years. Retired from Suburban Lock after 30 plus years of service. Bill was a huge Pontiac car enthusiast and belonged to several car clubs. He loved animals, especially his cats; a true sweetheart, a gentle man who was a friend to everyone. Preceded in death by his father, Robert Knotek. Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 35 years, Carla (Mock); his mother, Janet (Graves) Knotek; brothers Rick and Paul Knotek; a sister, Debi Tyler; in-laws, Tony and Louise Mock; sister-in-law, Anita (Steve) Wilkin; brothers-in-law, David Mock and Peter (Kathi) Mock. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Best Friends Animal Society or PAWS would be appreciated. Visitation for Bill will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be no funeral services. After visitation, cremation rites will be respectfully addressed. I have wonderful memories of when we lived near Bill and Carla and they would pet sit our dogs, Mercedes and Winston. Bill was loved by many and will truly be missed. Prayers to Carla and all of the family.
