Dear Arlene, Lisa and Jeanne,
I am so sorry for your loss. Just to soon to lose such a vibrant, loving person. Of course, my memories go way back to the 80's in grade school. Always had special sentiments about the Smialek family. My sympathy to you. Know that Donna was remembered in the prayers of St. Julie over the weekend. I am sad for your loss but know your spirit and laughter will get you through the days ahead. God bless you all. My prayers for Donna's family.

I was honored to meet Donna when she generously volunteered for research even at a time when she was deeply involved her own treatment. I immediately cared deeply for her- she was cool, she had soul and was an obviously enlightened individual, plus she was fun. My prayers for the peace of her surviving family and friends.
