Waller, LeRoy D. Age 91, of Chicago, passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019. LeRoy enjoyed his life by sharing his quick wit and impeccable sense of timing with all those around him. His charm transcended and endeared all generations. He quietly imparted his wisdom, a strong work ethic, and a life balance on his friends and family while remaining a very humble man who was always there to lend a hand. LeRoy has been the beloved husband of Stella for over 68 years; loving father of Steve (Cathy), Deborah Leahy (Philip), Christopher (Susan), Mark (Tracey) and Keith (Kara); dearest grandfather of Philip Leahy III, Rachel Ciocchetti, Liana Blint, Cheryl Leahy, Joseph Waller, Heather Hecht, James Waller, Timothy Leahy, Gentian Waller, RiLee Waller, Jason Waller and Jared Waller; and cherished great-grandfather of 15. In addition to his parents, LeRoy was preceded in death by his dearest brothers, Vincent Waller and Daniel Waller and leaves behind his two loving sisters, Jeanette Adamski (Ray) and Diana Keeran (Ray) and his two dear sisters-in-law, Dorothy Waller and Isabel Waller; he was the fond uncle, cousin, neighbor and friend of many. Visitation will be Friday, February 8, 2019, from 3:00-9:00 p.m. at Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home, 6901 W. Belmont Ave., Chicago, IL., 60634. Visitation will resume at the funeral home Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., after which a Celebration of Life service will be held before leaving for the burial at Irving Park Cemetery, 7777 W Irving Park Rd., Chicago, IL., 60634.
