Summer Nicole Hooks, age 24, of New Boston, Texas passed away at her home Sunday, February 27, 2022. Ms. Hooks was born August 9, 1997 in New Boston, Texas to Dennis Hooks and Leah Briggs. Summer was a homemaker, member of Full Gospel Church, and is preceded in death by her grandmother, Christi Cooper and uncle, David Briggs.
Survivors include her children, Zayden Wedgeworth, Kyleigh Hooks, and Elayna Hooks, father, Dennis Hooks, mother, Leah Briggs, step-dad, Jeremy Halcomb, step-mother, Amanda Sipes, brothers, Trae Hooks, Darrian Hooks, Ralph Halcomb, sisters, Karli Hooks, Victoria Hooks, Scarlett Hooks, Mikayla Hooks, Jaide Halcomb, grandparents, David and Deborah Briggs and numerous other relatives and friends.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2022 at Bates Rolf Funeral Home Chapel New Boston, Texas with Rev Tammy Nelson officiating. Interment will be at Ringwood Cemetery in New Boston, Texas under the direction of Bates Rolf Funeral Home, New Boston, Texas.
