Michael passed away peacefully in his sleep after a period of failing health, surrounded by his loving family.
He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.
Anyone who knew him would say he had a heart of “Gold”.
No matter what you were going through he would be right there by your side. He would help you find your true self. I can truly attest to that, he made me a stronger person over the years and all of his children too. He would always tell everyone that he had met, “don’t be afraid to chase after your dreams, that you control your future.”
He was a great adventurer- with nowhere special in mind we would take off for the day or weekend. I never knew where we would end up.
He was a great jokester, always playing tricks on his children and their friends to carrying it
over to teasing all of his grandkids. He enjoyed watching wrestling and other sports with his son Andrew and grandson Brett.
He loved going to concerts, hiking, hunting and especially loved to go camping in Colebrook and fishing the Mohawk River with his family.
He has touched so many people’s lives over the years that we could go on and on about him.
He will definitely be missed by many.
He is survived by his loving wife Leslie of 32 years. His son Andrew Jackson and his wife Natasha and their three children Brett, Bryar and Salem. His daughter Jennifer Jackson and her fiancé Brian. His son Jeffrey Jackson and his wife Kacie and their three children Isaiah, Makyla and Jett. His adopted daughter Michaela Perrin and her two children Emily and Raya. His mother Helen Collins. His sister Carmilla Hooper and her husband Terry. His brother Wayne Jackson and his wife Felecia. His partner’s in crime: Eddie Oakley, Keith Demers and his wife Leslie. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and many extend family members- the list goes on and on, you all know who you are. And last but not least a very special son/friend Gavin Douglas and his wife Karey.
Per his request there will be no funeral service. However against his request “he,he😅 ” I finally get the last laugh and one up on him for a change. We will be having a Celebration of Life at a later date. Thank you all who were apart of his life over the years!
He wants everyone to remember all the good times! Each and everyone of you held a very special place in his heart!
Until we meet again
A celebration of Michael's life will be held at the Alton American Legion (164 Wolfeboro Hwy, Alton, NH) on Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 1pm-5pm.

Leslie, Andrew and family,
We are sorry to hear about Mikes passing. He will be greatly missed and will be your forever guardian angel. Mike always lit up a room or a cookout with his sense of humor. Playing horseshoes at uncle Lloyd’s when he lived on Mooney will forever stay with me! He is with big Brett now and I am sure they are raising some hell together! The family will be in our thoughts and prayers. Please reach out if you need anything.

Leslie and Andrew and rest of the family, my heart and love go out to you. Michael Jackson (we used to chuckle at his name when we were younger) was and is still a great man and great husband and father and will be missed dearly.
With deepest condolences
