Marjorie graduated from Wayne State University and Medical School in 1947. She met husband Dr. George Sato and married him in 1948. She went on to work at St. Louis County Well Baby Clinics for approximately 20 years before joining George at his pediatric practice for approximately 10 years.

She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

Aunt Marj was a great inspiration to me. She persevered through many challenges in her life and was kind and humble too. A rare combination. I appreciated her wisdom and sharp wit. I am grateful to have been blessed with her in my life.

One of Marjorie's most telling legacies as a loving parent has been her daughter, Nancy's, indefatigable devotion to her over the past twenty years. Nancy joyfully commuted cross-country several times a year to spend weeks helping Marj in countless ways. In the hope this condolence can assuage the sadness of goodbye to such a loving, and loved, parent, I urge Nancy and all members of the Sato families to find solace in celebrating the wonderful life Marj enjoyed with Dr. George, punctuated with pride and joy that buoyed her by virtue of your many accomplishments and lives infused with integrity, ... all reflecting the wonderful person she was.
Sincerely,
Nancy's JBS classmate,
Jim Hullverson
