Margaret said it best the other night when she how John was an enormous presence in all our lives. He loved children and they loved him. He was always making funny faces for them and was affectionately nicknamed Uncle Monkey Face. With us his humor was mature like carrying a birthday cake into a room and pretending to trip just before placing it on the table or falling off a chair and coming up off the ground with his glasses askew and carrying on the conversation as if nothing happened. John had a serious side and if you needed to get something off your chest there was no better confidant. He was a great listener and only gave advice when asked. I loved listening to his stories of his band winning The Battle of The Bands. He said many nights after a gig he would go back to his parents house and his mother would cook for them and his father would have his band mates in stiches. John had an amazing reverence and love for his parents. May your soul and essence be with them, Jean and Erin. Sometime down the road I look forward to us all being reunited, until then God rest your soul. I love you brother.

Magaba and family- John will be forever remembered for his kindness and humor. His love for his family always shined through those sparkling blues and he was so proud to be by your sides. May his love continue to get you through each day. All my love and deepest condolences.

Margaret and family, so sorry! My fondest memories of John were his wrestling antics on the corner during our high school years! I still laugh thinking about him and all our craziness. He was a great guy and will be so missed! Thoughts and prayers to all the family! ❤
