Herschel was a very nice person. We both went to Grants Lick grade school and Campbell County High School. He was three years ahead of me. He was the best of friends with our family. God bless

I have so many great memories of Herschel, Elk hunting in New Mexico, Duck and Pheasant hunting trips, fishing trips, and many rounds on the Golf course with him. He was a very dear friend and I will miss him deeply. He shared my love of Country Music and when the mood hit us we would sing a duet of “Call Ole Rattler From The Barn”! (We were the only ones that liked it)!
Rest in peace Hersh, and I’ll see you on the other side.

I have been privileged to know Herschell for only about ten years through our NFL Former Players Chapter meetings and event gatherings. I knew him as a friendly, kind- hearted man that enjoyed being with people and sharing in the memories created in his life. I know that Herschell will enjoy his knew journey with our Lord and Savior.
Praying for God's blessings to wife and family.
