Craig Schlueter Obituary

Very sorry to hear of Craig's passing. We both worked at Bunge for a number of years, and though our jobs were in different areas we came in contact frequently. He was a very bright and friendly guy that everyone enjoyed being around. Sadly, serious illness struck him at far too young an age. My condolences to his family and many friends.

So sorry for your loss- I was fortunate to know Craig via the APDA. I and everyone will miss seeing him.

Craig brought the most positive energy to our group at Rock Steady everyday. He was an inspiration to the entire class Craig is the type of man that I aspire to be every day. His love for his wife, his kids, his family, his passion, his faith, his kindness, his determination and his positive oura are combined qualities that leads to the highest caliber human. He will be greatly missed and I feel blessed to have had him in my life. I miss you, Craig! And Go Illini my brother!

Craig was a bright light and a positive, kind spirit. He was also a warrior. He came to Rock Steady Boxing ready to work, encourage others and fight PD. We will miss him terribly and will certainly be praying for your family.

So sorry, Susan and family. Craig was a great person that I really enjoyed seeing him every fall.

I had the opportunity to work 7 harvests with Craig on the Williams Family Farm and would look forward to seeing/working with him every season and would always ask Kurt "When is Craig coming down?" because he always seemed to make the day go well and we would tell each other stories and jokes all day while we did our work and it made the day fly by having a good day.You will be missed by everyone for sure.Rest in peace buddy.

I was very saddened to learn of Craig's death. I quite valued him as a trusted colleague and a thoroughly decent human being. He left us far too early. I extend my sincere condolences to his family.

I was greatly blessed to nanny for the Schlueters. Craig was a most wonderful man and I am fortunate to have known him. He treated me like a member of the family. He went out of his way to show appreciation in tangible and intangible ways, being both generous and helpful at any opportunity he could find. Once I bought a reclining lawn chair and hid it in their garage till my husband's birthday, but neglected to tell them what I had done. That weekend there was a charity drive and the chair became part of their donation. When we realized what happened, Craig insisted on buying another chair. I asked him on what on possible theory could he think he was responsible for replacing it. He didn't have an answer, but made sure he replaced it anyway. He was just like that. He dearly loved Susan; they were as close to the perfect couple as I have seen (we used to call them Ken and Barbie). And he dearly loved his children--and was so proud of them (with good reason)! His was a blessed life. He will be dearly missed.

Although I only knew him from the APDA classes, Craig was one of the most kind and supportive participants I had ever met. I am so grateful to have known him.

The Schlueter family has a monster place in my heart. Shocked to hear this news. Craig was so incredibly kind and generous during the days I ‘mannied’ their family. Heartbroken for Susan, Luke, Ryan and Jessica. My prayers go out to you for comfort and peace.

Craig was such a kind-hearted guy whose smile could light up any room. I have so many fond memories of him from high school. Keeping his family in my prayers during this difficult time.

I worked with Craig at Bunge in St. Louis for a period of time. He always had a smile on his face. A very kind and gentle soul. I am so sorry for your loss. Best wishes to your family. Susan and I were coworkers at Purina that became friends. That of course included hearing about multiple adventures with Craig and the kids. Our hearts are with you. Know that we are a text away. Wishing you peace and comfort. Craig is smiling down on all of you.

I worked with Craig for almost 10 years with Bunge. He was my boss and then teammate in Bunge's HR department. I will cherish all my memories of working with Craig and all the fun times we had. My thoughts and prayers with all of Craig's family.
