Constance Barrett Obituary

Connie Barrett passed away leaving her sisters Mary Pat Crawford, Kathy Youel (Steve),Terri Bane (Denny), Donna Mandel (John),Janice Miller (Jerry), and brothers Rev. Miles Barrett, Phil Barrett, Bill Barrett.  She leaves behind nephews and nieces and friends. Connie was a  Reading Specialist for many years at the University of Chicago Lab School.  She received the Archdiocese of Chicago ‘Christi Fidelis’ Medal for her lifetime service to Our Lady of Charity parish in Cicero, IL as organist, lector, Eucharistic minister, committee member, annual parish support for Our Lady of Charity and school. There will be a visitation at Sourek Funeral Home, 5645 W 35th, Cicero, IL on Saturday, July 11th from 10:00-11:45 am. Connie’s Mass of Resurrection will follow at noon at Our Lady of Charity Church, 3600 S 57th Court, Cicero, IL. Donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society or to our Lady of Charity Church in memory of Connie Barrett or donations to Mount Carmel Convent BVM 1011 Carmel Dr. Dubuque IA 52003 .
