I got the pleasure of meeting her first through her grandson, Chris. He has so many fond stories of her. By the time I got to meet her in person I felt like I knew her to some degree.
I actually got to meet her in person a few years ago. She welcomed me with open arms. Told me stories about her life in Pensacola and some funny stories about Chris and Shawna growing up. It was great to see them through her eyes. Sending much love, thoughts and prayers in this difficult time.
