Another dearly beloved member of our family has gone to sleep in Christ. Uncle Herman was not only a family stalwart, he was a national treasure for his military service and his work with the rhesus monkeys that paved the way to put an American in space. Fond memories of his time with us will fill the void as pain and sorrow give way to gladness and happiness.
