In loving memory of a wonderful man. Although it has been 20y, I will always remember his smile, laughter, patience, compassion, hugs and smoked trout he brought to every MRH GI Lab party. A kind and gentle man...gone too soon.

Drew was my dear colleague, friend, and unfailingly enthusiastic fishing and boating companion for nearly forty years.

He took splendidly compassionate care of my parents in their declining years. For that and so many other reasons I will always gratefully cherish his memory.

I met Drew at Michael Resse. He was so nice and when he spoke to you, you knew he was seeing and hearing you. He had such a memory. I still have the book he brought me. When he gave it to me he told me he saw it and thought of me. I will treasure his memory, his kind heart, sense of humor. Rest in peace my friend. Catalina

My father and I were patients of Dr. Tomczak. We both thought he was caring and understanding with a good sense of humor and personality. He treated my chronic ulcerative colitis for 20 years. He never gave up when it came to trying different medications. We were sad when he retired and sad over his passing.

Dr. Tomczak was my gastroenterologist and primary care physician for almost 30 years. He helped me to keep my ulcerative colitis in remission. He was a brilliant and compassionate doctor and a wonderful person. I and my family considered him to be a friend. He was the best person to have as a medical advocate. He was just a wonderful human being. My wife and I miss him so much. May his memory be for a blessing.
