Dear Jim- So very shocked and saddened in hearing of Dana's passing. She was a very special person who was a good friend during our days in Engineering and evening classes at Benedictine. I miss those days and sharing them with her. She always made me smile. So very sorry for your loss.

Jim, I'm so sorry to read of Dana's passing. She was too young for this to happen. She was always nice when she brought Emily and Karl into the office, and we would share some light humor. Give my regards to Emily and Karl; I imagine they're very fine young adults by now. God Bless.

We are so sorry to hear this sad news. I remember Dana from our much younger days. Everyone has spoken of her as a great lady, and I remember her warmth and kindness and intelligence. The world is a much less beautiful place without her in it. May her family--especially her husband, children, sister and parents--find a way forward in the loving embrace of friends, all of whom truly understood how special Dana was. We send our love and regret we cannot be near you at this difficult time to offer condolences in person. --Sandy, Jamie, Alexander and Nicholas Sutton

Its so hard to say goodbye to you dear friend. We grew up together, worked, lunched, waited daily for the Archer 62 bus listening to a Baptist sermon on State Street often grabbing a cone along the way for the long ride back to our homes to avoid listening to the religious rants when we were young. You used to laugh at my life drawings on Saturdays when I came into the office to work after art school and for good reason, you were the profoundly smart one, not one day with your head in the clouds so to speak. It is so hard to lose you, because as I realize it all now I know deep inside I have lost a part of myself. To your Mother and Father, May God hold them close during this trying time that no parent is ever prepared to go through, to your sister AnnMarie, there are no words other than she thought the world of you - her baby sister whom she loved so very much. To her husband Jim, you made her life so full of happiness - you swept her off her feet and gave her a radiance we will all miss, to her children Carl and Emily she loved you both to the moon and back and was so very proud of you for being so strong through it all. This clearly is not the end and we only know of our earthly home. I pray we meet on the other side to once again give you a great big hug like the day we lost Bobby Ross and we shared a moment in the chapel saying youd better not do this to us all that we simply cant lose you, today this memory is breaking my heart. May God Bless you all as you mourn over the loss of a wonderful daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, wife and mother. May Danas soul Rest in Eternal Peace.

I am so sorry for your loss. Dana and I met through business but became friends. She always talked of her love of her family, Jim, Karl, Emily and Mom and Dad and sister. She was so proud of both of her children. And of course Chief who became her guardian while she was at home recovering. I have a golden also around the same age as Chief so we talked about them alot. Dana was so easy to talk to and I will miss our conversations and friendship. She is pain free now but we feel the pain of her loss in our lives. Until we meet again Dana.

Dear Jim, Karl, and Emily,
Please accept our deepest and most sincere sympathies. I am so happy we got to know each other through SS Cyrils all these years. Mom and I always seemed to run into Dana at Jewel or church. It was especially nice to see her when I would come back into town since moving away. Fond memories. She was very special. I always felt a close connection to her like weve known each other forever. I will always carry that with me. She will always be with you. An angel for sure

A Lady with so much love and dedication whom I will sorely miss. I had so many Laugh Out Loud moments with Dana. She spoke with such pride about her family that I know you will be hurting at such a great loss but the only consolation for me, and I hope for her you, is that she will be in a far better place looking down and laughing at us mugs!!

I will always remember her meeting me in a parking lot to exchange a framed painting for the Slovenian Center. I don't know why that stays with me, but it does. She went to great lengths for those around her. I will miss her.
