I knew Gary only briefly in the seventies, dragging him out to Sheridan College to talk to students and show them that there was life beyond the suburbs, but I am so happy to read all the lovely memories and tributes to him, for he was definitely a memorable guy who was larger than time and place. So long, Gary.
