Brenda McHarg LARAMÉE
1952 - 2024

It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Jane Laramée (nee McHarg), suddenly at the CHUS Fleurimont, on Sunday, August 25, 2024. Brenda passed away in her 72nd year and will be reunited in heaven with her beloved husband of 49 years, the late Michel Laramée (d. 2024).
Daughter of the late William McHarg and Doris Ross, Brenda was the loving and devoted mother of Joey (Rachel Hunting), Eric (Fallon Kennedy), Nathalie (Danny Gagnon). Brenda was also the adored grandmother of Lydia, Jayden, Joel, and Jace; the cherished sister of Hazel Bertrand (the late Brian Bertrand); and predeceased by her sister Elizabeth "Betty" Robinson (the late Stuart Robinson) and her brother John.
Brenda's life centered around her family, and she treasured every moment spent with them. She had a special affection for holiday celebrations, with Christmas being particularly dear to her heart. Decorating the tree with her loved ones was a cherished tradition that brought her immense joy.
Brenda dedicated her life to the care and well-being of others, spending her entire career in healthcare with unwavering compassion and commitment. Brenda was a warm-hearted and compassionate person who will be deeply missed by her loving family, beloved friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
In accordance with her wishes, a private celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, September 1, 2024.
