(the late Donna), and Steven (Judi), proud grandfather of Elizabeth, Margaret, Jacob, Scott, and Mindi, dear brother of William, Jacqueline (the late Thomas) Chalmers, and the late Frances (the late Raymond) Trotter, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Tuesday, 10 a.m. from Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn, to St. Linus Church, Mass 11 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Visitation Monday, 2 until 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Linus Conference of St. Vincent de Paul Society. Founder of St. Rita High School Band in 1946. St. Rita High School Man of the Year in 1990 and inducted into St. Rita High School Hall of Fame in 1994. President of St. Linus Conference of St. Vincent de Paul. very active parishioner at St. Linus Church including volunteer work in the rectory office, captain of the ushers and 2004 recipient of the Archdiocese of Chicago Christifideles Award.
