Geer, Darcy Lee A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away in Chicago, IL on January 22, 2017 at age 66. The late Mrs. Geer joins her late husband, Gene, just weeks before the 37th anniversary of their wedding. She is survived by her children, Eugene, Thomas, Theo, and Alex; her 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Darcy was an accomplished cook, ravenous lover of food, books, and family. When not absorbed by her reading or cooking, she could be found making beautiful crocheted items or playing pinochle with her family. She loved Christmas, frogs, teacups, and coffee almost as much as she loved sharing these things with her loved ones. A memorial service will be held at 120 E. Oak St., Addison, IL 60101 on Sunday, February 12th, from 1:00-5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in her memory to the Franklin Park Library, 10311 Grand Ave., Franklin Park, IL 60131.
